Marion Co. Disaster Area, Real Estate Reassessment Possible
Patty Brough, Marion County Supervisor of Assessments, announced today that on January 5, 2016 Governor Rauner declared Marion County a disaster area. This action is a result of major flooding. The high river levels have caused and continue to pose a severe risk of substantial flooding in many Illinois counties resulting in significant property damage to homes and businesses.
