The Jefferson County Historical Society is hosting their annual Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social on Saturday, August 8th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Historical Village, 1411 North 27th Street in Mt. For a donation of $5.00 guests will receive, ice cream with a choice of topping, a large cookie and bottled water. Guests may choose to eat their ice cream on the Village grounds; however, the buildings will remain closed due to Covid 19 social distancing restrictions.
All other events and programs at the Historical Village for August, 2020 are cancelled or postponed due to Covid 19 restrictions.
The Jefferson County Historical Society was founded in 1946 to preserve the heritage of the county for future generations. We are a nonprofit organization that relies on grants, donations, membership dues, and fundraisers to operate. Our programs and village tours are free of charge and open to the public. We would appreciate the support of the community for this delicious fundraiser. Call (618) 246-0033 or email email@example.com for more information.
